Ph.D. candidate Trier Mortlock, supervised by Prof. Al Faruque won first place in the Best Student Poster competition at the 29th Automotive Research Center Program Review for the project titled “Adaptive and Efficient Perception for Autonomous Ground Vehicles Operating in Highly Stochastic Environments under Sensing Uncertainties”. The Automotive Research Center (ARC) is a University-based U.S. Army Center of Excellence for modeling and simulation of military and civilian ground systems. It represents the key basic research partner of the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC).
